Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator in New York to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

You will help maintain accurate inventories and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, picking orders, and inspecting freight for damage or discrepancies, while keeping the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating various forklift types and RF scanning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using appropriate forklifts to move products to storage areas.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check for accuracy and damage.
• Operate equipment safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Maintain clean, orderly work environment while meeting production standards.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and battery changes as needed.
