Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator to support shipping and warehouse operations across our California facilities. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, material handling, and accurate inventory processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months forklift operating experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, handle inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and maintain warehouse organization.
• Report any forklift issues or safety concerns to supervisor or maintenance.
