Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring a forklift operator to support our shipping and receiving operations. You will load, unload, and move materials, wrap as needed, and keep warehouses organized while following safety procedures.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months forklift experience, and the ability to obtain a PCA forklift license. OT availability and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months’ forklift experience.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and machinery.
• Must obtain and maintain PCA-certified forklift license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
• Assist other shipping/material handlers to balance workload, organize warehouses, and perform cleaning.
• Follow safety and operating procedures for forklift use; report missing, broken, bent, or worn parts.
