Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator to support our shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will safely operate a forklift, wrap materials as needed, and keep stock organized across the warehouse.

The role requires 6+ months forklift experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work overtime on short notice. PCA offers competitive pay, benefits, and a certified forklift license upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 6+ months forklift experience.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and heavy forklift traffic.
• Ability to obtain PCA certified forklift license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, manage inbound forms and counts.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and maintain warehouses.
• Follow safety rules and report defective forklift parts.
• Identify obvious defects of incoming material.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
