Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a forklift operator to operate a forklift safely, wrap materials when required, and maintain organized stock in the warehouse. The role includes documenting materials unloaded and coordinating counts for production and shipments.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ months forklift experience, be able to work overtime on short notice, and possess a PCA forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and around machinery.
• Must obtain and maintain PCA forklift license.
• U.S. work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment as needed.
• Keep stock and materials organized and orderly.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and manage inbound forms, inventory tags and counts.
