Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator to safely run forklift and wrapping equipment, manage stock, and assist in shipping/receiving functions at our facility in Belton, SC. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of forklift experience, and the ability to work overtime on short notice.

Starting pay is $18.76 per hour with annual bonus potential based on plant performance, plus a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life,

Qualifications

• 6+ months' forklift experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and maintain warehouses.
• Follow safety rules and report any damaged parts or defects of forklift equipment.
• Notice defects in incoming material and report.
• Comply with all safety, work rules, and company policies.
