Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, at our Springfield, MO facility. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, moving goods between staging and storage while supporting safe, efficient warehouse processes.

The role requires 6+ months of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and willingness to work scheduled overtime in a multi-temperature environment. We offer competitive benefits and a safe, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper storage slots and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates stock and removes outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots and conducts housekeeping duties as needed.
• Secures equipment and completes paperwork at end of shift.
