Job summary

Foster Poultry Farms, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move product throughout our warehouse. You will operate the forklift, perform minor adjustments when needed, and wear PPE while adhering to food safety standards and USDA requirements.

This role requires a strong work ethic, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts. You will collaborate with supervisors and processing teams to ensure accurate and efficient loading,

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English legibly.
• Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, varying shifts, and overtime.
• Must wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift for transportation of product and materials.
• As needed, make minor adjustments to the forklift or notify supervisor if forklift is not working properly.
• Don proper personal protective equipment.
• Help maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company standards and USDA requirements.
• Must work in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
