Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Knoxville, TN seeks a dedicated Forklift Operator to move materials, load pallets, and manage storage flow in multi-temperature environments. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, ensure inventory accuracy, and support daily distribution operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 6+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift, and adherence to GMP and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift repeatedly and handle 10–90 lb items.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials.
• Locate slots and load pallets on storage racks.
• Transport incoming freight from staging to storage and replenish pick slots.
• Inspect items for damage and perform basic temperature/quality checks.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and organize work area.
