Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move and organize goods across staging, storage, and pick areas in a multi-temperature distribution facility. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, load and unload items, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

The role requires stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Prior forklift certification and warehouse experience are preferred for efficient operation and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move, store, and retrieve items.
• Perform counts of incoming freight and transport to freezer or staging areas.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to work orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory as required by policy.
• Ensure equipment safety and maintain clean, organized work area.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and safety checks.
