Job summary

Americold seeks a Forklift Operator to safely handle receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. You will load/unload, stack, pick, label, wrap, and ensure accuracy while maintaining safety and a clean work environment.

Experience of 3 months preferred; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. This role may involve overtime or varying shifts and requires attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check for damage and infestation, label and wrap orders.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safe manner per OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
