Job summary

XPO, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Odessa, TX to join our dock operations. You will efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight, using pallet jacks and forklifts, while safely securing loads for transit.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Dock or warehouse experience preferred in transportation.
• Forklift experience in a freight/LTL environment preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Strong attention to detail and drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift and other equipment as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers with appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely, following company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
