Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator for a dock-based role in Sherman, TX. You will efficiently sort, load and unload freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and secure cargo inside trailers while following strict safety policies.

The position offers shifts across days/evenings/nights, with pay starting at $23.43/hour and comprehensive benefits from day one. This role supports a busy distribution environment on a climate-controlled or non-climate-controlled dock as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available for shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move freight.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
