Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Odessa, TX to efficiently sort, load and unload freight on our dock. You’ll operate forklift and pallet jack, secure cargo and help move shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Pay starts at $23.86 per hour with a day shift. We offer full health insurance on day one, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) match and education assistance. Must be 18+, able to perform basic math, and flexible on shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Preferred: dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.
• Preferred: forklift experience in a freight or LTL environment.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift; ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Use mobile devices to scan and track shipments.
