Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will load and unload freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure freight is secured inside trailers.

The role requires safety-conscious work on a non climate-controlled dock and involves scanning shipments with handheld devices. Position details include day shift (6am-2pm, M-F), comprehensive health insurance from day one, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ and ability to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Willingness to work varying shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends) as freight volumes fluctuate.
• Attention to detail and reliability in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Maintain safety by following company policies and procedures on the dock.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
