Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight on a dock. You will operate forklift and pallet jack, secure cargo in trailers and follow safety policies while working on a non-climate-controlled dock.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools and supplies.
• Work safely according to company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
