Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator for a role on our dock, handling palletized and non-palletized freight with a forklift and pallet jack, in a non climate-controlled environment.

The position offers an afternoon shift, comprehensive benefits from day one, PTO and sick leave, nine holidays, a 401(k) match, and education assistance. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt role with growth opportunities within our logistics network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends as freight volumes vary.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment, including forklift and pallet jack.
• Secure freight inside trailers with appropriate tools and supplies.
• Adhere to safety policies while performing duties.
• Scan and track shipments using handheld devices.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
