Job summary

XPO is hiring a Forklift Operator for its New Jersey dock operations. You will efficiently sort, load and unload freight, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and secure cargo inside trailers while adhering to safety policies on a non-climate-controlled dock.

Shift flexibility is required (days, evenings, nights, weekends). The role includes competitive pay, full health insurance from day one, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Able to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends due to varying freight volumes.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Adhere to company safety policies while working on a dock.
