Job summary

XPO Logistics Freight Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator to help sort, load, and unload freight on a busy dock. You will use forklifts and pallet jacks, scan shipments, and adhere to safety policies in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualified candidates are 18+, comfortable with basic math, and able to work afternoons, evenings, nights, or weekends. Health benefits begin day one, with PTO, holidays, 401(k), and education assistance available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Able to work varying shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight efficiently.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Secure freight inside trailers using available tools and supplies.
• Follow safety policies and use mobile devices to scan/track shipments.
• Work on a non-climate-controlled dock for extended periods.
