Job summary

The Hershey Company in Edgerton, KS is hiring a Forklift Operator to move materials using stand-up reach forklifts and ensure accurate handling of inbound and outbound goods. The role requires certified forklift operation and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

You will collaborate with production and shipping to meet daily schedules. Starting pay is $21.65 per hour with a $1/hour shift differential for overnight shifts and potential for a $1/hour raise after six months of good standing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified forklift operator (Stand-up Reach Truck) is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Move materials in and out of the building using stand-up reach forklifts.
• Coordinate with production and shipping to ensure timely material availability.
• Prepare and document receipts and inventory records accurately.
• Load and unload freight orders for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area following FDA/OSHA rules.
