Job summary

The Hershey Company in Edgerton, KS is hiring a Forklift Operator to move materials and manage inventory using stand-up reach trucks. You will support production by loading and unloading, and ensure accurate paperwork and quality control during daily warehouse activities.

Starting pay is $21.65/hr with a $2/hr shift differential for overnight shifts, overtime potential, and a potential $1/hr raise after 6 months of good standing.

Qualifications

• Certified forklift operator (Stand-up Reach Truck) required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Move materials with stand-up reach forklift to support daily operations.
• Pick products from inventory and packaging using correct materials.
• Fill out required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Prepare orders to meet pick-up demands and load freight.
• Document receipts of incoming materials and check packing slips.
• Ensure all product handling complies with quality standards.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations and Shipping to meet timelines.
• Maintain organized storage and clean work area; follow safety rules.
