The Hershey Company in Edgerton, KS is hiring a Forklift Operator to move materials and manage inbound and outbound goods using stand-up reach trucks.

Starting pay is $21.65 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift differential for overnight shifts; overtime is possible. Orientation and training will be provided during the initial weeks.

The role requires a certified forklift operator, ability to lift 40 pounds, and a commitment to safety and quality standards in a food production/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified forklift operator (Stand-up Reach Truck) required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to bend, twist, and stand for a full shift.
• Food production/warehouse environment with noise and temperature variations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Move materials with stand-up reach trucks.
• Coordinate with production to supply daily materials.
• Pick and pack products using correct materials.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Prepare orders for pickup and load freight.
• Record receipts and verify packing slips for accuracy.
• Ensure incoming/outgoing goods meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations and Shipping to meet timelines.
• Receive and store incoming orders in racking.
• Maintain organized warehouse and clean work area.
• Follow FDA and OSHA safety rules and company policies.
• Assist in production areas as needed.
• Uphold a professional, team-focused work environment.
