Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Edgerton, KS facility. The role requires operating stand-up reach trucks to move materials and support daily production operations.

Starting pay is $21.65 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential for overnight shifts. Overtime potential; benefits include 401(k) with company match and paid time off. Training orientation is provided and safety regulations must be followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified forklift operator for Stand-up Reach Truck.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
• Able to bend, twist, and stand for an entire shift.
• Experience in food production/warehouse environment is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.
• No sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and ensure accurate inventory of incoming and outgoing items (stand-up reach trucks).
• Provide necessary materials for daily production operations.
• Prepare product orders and load freight for pickup.
• Document receipts of incoming materials and check packing slips for accuracy.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Assist in production areas as needed and coordinate with shipping on timelines.
