Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator for its Memphis dock to efficiently sort, load and unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts.

This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights and weekends on a non-climate-controlled dock. The position offers competitive pay starting at $28.10/hour plus full health insurance on day one, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift, using motorized and manual equipment.
• Secure freight inside trailers with appropriate tools.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
