Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently sort, load and unload palletized freight, operate forklift and pallet jack, and ensure freight is secured inside trailers.

You must be at least 18, able to do basic math, and available for days, evenings, nights and weekends; warehouse/transportation experience helps. Competitive benefits apply after 30 hours.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Availability for days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight on the dock.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools and supplies.
• Follow safety policies and work safely on the dock.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work in a dock that may be non climate-controlled for periods.
