Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team in Tennessee. You will efficiently sort, load, and unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts, while adhering to safety policies and scanning shipments with handheld devices.

The role includes non climate-controlled dock conditions on extended shifts, including nights, with opportunities for health benefits and retirement plans. Candidates should be at least 18, comfortable with basic math, and able to work varied schedules to match

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform basic math calculations with or without a calculator.
• Available to work nights, days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift and other equipment as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Operate on a dock that may be non climate-controlled.
