Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently move palletized freight on our dock, using a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload with care. You will work on a non-climate-controlled dock and ensure safe handling of all loads.

The role offers an Afternoon Shift (1:00pm - 10:00pm), with benefits starting on day one and a pay rate starting at $22.85/hour, plus bonuses up to $2,000. Additional perks include a 401(k) with company match and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use forklift and pallet jack to move loads safely.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Operate on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
• Scan and track shipments with handheld devices.
