Job summary

XPO is hiring a Forklift Operator to efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight on a busy dock. You will use forklift and pallet jack, secure freight inside trailers, and scan shipments with handheld devices while adhering to safety policies.

The role includes working a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights and weekends) and pay starts at $26.05/hour with benefits available for those scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move equipment and loads.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
