Job summary

XPO is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will proficiently sort, load, and unload freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure secure loading inside trailers while following safety policies.

The role requires 18+ years of age, basic math proficiency, and availability for varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work on a dock in a non-climate-controlled environment with safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
