Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a full-time material handler for its Salina, KS facility. You will operate forklifts, stage pallets, and support timely trailer loading in a cold environment. This role requires the ability to work 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. and to learn SAP and WMS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience preferred.
• Forklift certification/qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and lift equipment to receive, store, and transport palletized products in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Efficiently pick and stage pallets to support timely trailer loading and distribution.
• Maintain smooth product flow by ensuring all material movements are completed accurately and within timeframes.
• Perform regular equipment checks and report malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas following Good Warehouse Practices.
