Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of commercial and industrial cleaners is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join their growing team based in New Holland.

Our candidate of choice must have high-reach forklift experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use RF Scan gun and order documents to accurately pick, pack, check, and load product to and from designated areas in the facility and/or on/off of trailers.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment, and removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Be a team player with a customer service mindset.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Detail-oriented.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
