Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for lift truck preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. You will work on electric and hydraulic equipment, weld as needed, maintain batteries, and ensure safety and reliability in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate forklifts and related tools.

Qualifications

• Must perform preventative maintenance on lift trucks and electrical trucks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions; welding and fabrication skills.
• Operate forklift, electric cart, man lift, and basic/power tools.
• Read and interpret technical documents, manuals and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on lift trucks.
• Repair electrical trucks and perform welding on equipment as needed.
• Maintain batteries and elevated lift trucks, tuggers, carts and pallet jacks.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
