Job summary

The Home Depot in Redlands, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Forklift Repair to ensure the safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks within the facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, perform preventive maintenance, and repair forklifts and related material-handling equipment to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a trade school degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment and conveyor systems, including mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
• Performs preventative maintenance and necessary modifications on equipment and buildings.
• Provides equipment status reports detailing maintenance problems.
• Follows all safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment with daily area cleanup.
