Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and related equipment.

You will load/unload freight, stack and store merchandise, check for accuracy and damage, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the facility. Excellent attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
