Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Alabama is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support Asset Protection and Inventory Control with forklift operation, counts, and safe handling of merchandise. You will work with team members to maintain accuracy and timely counts.

Responsibilities include cross-functional teamwork, returns processing, and ensuring daily club standards are met while following safety protocols. Regular attendance and readiness to perform duties across departments are essential.

Qualifications

• Must complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance; maintains high safety, service, and sanitation standards.
• Processes damaged or defective merchandise, including salvage, vendor returns, and proper packaging.
• Obtains return authorizations from vendors and processes returns per policy.
• Conducts department inventory counts and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains organized and clean department area; follows safety procedures and policies.
