Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Davenport, IA is seeking an Inventory Control/Asset Protection support role to help maintain accurate counts, operate a forklift, and assist the Asset Protection Supervisor. The team focuses on safe, efficient inventory processes and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a high-quality member shopping experience.

Responsibilities include processing damaged merchandise, obtaining vendor returns, and coordinating counts with various departments while adhering to club

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous member service with high safety and sanitation standards.
• Process damaged or defective merchandise following salvage, donation, and vendor return procedures.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and handle vendor chargebacks.
• Coordinate department inventory counts and scheduled counts within deadlines.
• Wrap and pack sellable merchandise using proper sealing/shrink-wrap guidelines.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe work area and assist cross-functional teams.
