Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Mesquite, TX is seeking team members for inventory control and asset protection roles. You will operate a forklift, perform counts, sort damaged merchandise, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate stock levels and safe store operations.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains high standards of safety, service, and sanitation for members and team members.
• Accurately processes damaged or defective merchandise following salvage, donation, vendor return, reverse logistics, hazardous waste and destroy procedures.
• Obtains return authorizations from vendors and processes vendor chargebacks and merchandise returns per policies.
• Supports Inventory Control Count Team in executing count processing and maintaining accurate stock status.
