Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Inventory Control / Asset Protection support role to maintain accurate counts, process damaged merchandise, and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams. The position supports a fast-paced environment with early start times and requires forklift operation along with adherence to safety and loss-prevention standards.

Availability noted for MONDAY–THURSDAY with start times as early as 4:00am–12:00pm, reflecting a growth-oriented team focused on accurate

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Forklift certification preferred or required.
• Effective communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service while maintaining high safety standards.
• Accurately process damaged, defective, or returned merchandise and follow salvage procedures.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and process vendor chargebacks.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control Count Team to complete counts by deadlines.
• Wrap and package sellable merchandise using proper seal/shrink-wrap methods.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe work environment across the department.
