We are seeking a Forklift Inventory Control Specialist to join our team, as the Inventory Control Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency through daily cycle counting, inventory profiling and verification of adjustments. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou'll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
Perform daily cycle counts / 2nd cycle counts efficiently and accurately in a timely manner.
Safely operate - Powered Industrial Equipment provided to perform cycle counts, restocks, and inventory corrections.
Perform inventory adjustments after verification of accuracy.
Perform physical and systematic research with ability to communicate back to management and team members.
Assist management in research and correction of quality related issues.
Must be able to meet all expectations of counts per hour and errors as required.
Ability to assist in fostering and driving a team-based environment.
Ensure safe and clean work areas.
Perform/complete special project assignments with little to no supervision.
Occasionally move pallets with the use of a pallet jack.
Other job duties may be assigned at management discretion.
We're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
1-3 years of experience with Inventory Control (preferred)
Must maintain current forklift certification (preferred)
If a current forklift certification isn't held, we will help you get certified.
Basic reading and writing skills.
Basic Math skills to include : addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with or without the use of a calculator.
Experience with Link, Mocha Telnet, or similar ERP systems/tools.
Intermediate experience within excel.
Ability to multitask with little to no supervision.
Ability to interact effectively and productively with co-workers in all departments while maintaining composure.
