Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Forklift Field Service Technician in Mancelona, MI to service customer forklifts and material handling equipment on a first shift. The role includes preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs, with a company van, fuel card, and comprehensive benefits.

The candidate should have forklift repair experience, own tools, a clean driving record, and be capable of working independently with excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Two years forklift repair experience required.
• Experience in the Military, Guard or Reserve with MOS/NEC codes listed is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electric and liquid propane units.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
• Must have own tools and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair all forms of customer equipment.
• Complete repairs in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service and manage workloads independently.
• Submit all required paperwork accurately.
