Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Forklift Field Service Technician in Romulus, MI. The role is first shift, Monday through Friday, paid hourly, with a company service van and fuel card.

You will service customer forklifts and material handling equipment, performing preventative maintenance and repairs, while ensuring excellent customer service and proper documentation. Qualifications include at least two years of forklift repair experience, own tools, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Two years of forklift repair experience is highly desired.
• Own tools and clean driving record required.
• Experience with electric and liquid propane forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair all forms of customer equipment.
• Complete repairs in a timely, efficient, professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work and manage workloads independently.
• Complete required paperwork.
