Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America's leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies, is seeking a Materials Handler I in our Miami area facility. You will receive, fill, and ship products with accuracy and efficiency, using power equipment and RF scanning to keep stock levels correct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–1 year of related experience or training.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read labels, safety procedures, and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment safely to locate, store, and move products daily.
• Receive products by forklift or hand and ensure condition.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and complete paperwork.
• Label and scan products, resolve labeling discrepancies.
• Fill orders, pack, and prepare for shipping.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
• Participate in cycle counts and maintain a clean work area.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
