Job summary

Mantrose Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Elgin, IL to load, unload, and stock pallets and cases using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand. You will move goods, verify paperwork, and help maintain safe, organized shipping and receiving operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and 5 years of shipping/receiving experience; strong math and English skills; ability to multi-task and adapt to rapid product changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5 years shipping/receiving preferred.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations methods.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets, bags, and cases on/off trailers using forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
• Operate a forklift to move, locate, stack, stretch wrap and count items.
• Verify shipments against paperwork for inbound and outbound activity.
• Maintain safety, accuracy, and organization to minimize mis-picks and damages.
• Follow attendance and company safety rules; communicate with supervisor.
