Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Tennessee to coach and train teammates while handling warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This role requires at least 2 years in warehouse operations and leadership experience, plus forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; pass background check and drug screen.
• 2+ years warehouse/distribution operations experience with 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking labels per SOP and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles.
• Other duties as needed.
