Job summary

Builders FirstSource is hiring for a yard loader/warehouse associate in Gunnison, CO. You will load and unload materials, assemble deliveries, and prepare orders for on‑time customer delivery.

The job requires forklift certification and basic reading of work orders, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in handling materials. Experience with loading procedures and physical stamina for frequent lifting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• 3 months of related loading/unloading experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles.
• Assemble load packages for delivery and ensure balance and safety.
• Move materials using hand truck, dolly, forklift or similar device.
• Read work orders to determine materials and quantities.
• Maintain accurate labeling and tagging for identification.
