Job summary

Three Bears Alaska is hiring for a Customer Service PIC to supervise front-end team members, coordinate daily activities and uphold service standards in our Alaska stores. You will ensure productivity, supervise cashiers, and maintain smooth customer flow.

Key duties include greeting customers, handling register operations, coordinating breaks, training staff, and ensuring returns and exchanges follow policy. Must be 21+, with high school diploma preferred and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Complete forklift certification training and maintain certification.
• Greets customers, answers questions, provides prompt and courteous service.
• Determines correct number of registers to accommodate customers and maintain productivity.
• Coordinates team member breaks, lunches, and tasks.
• Coordinates with other departments for help or assistance as needed.
• Arranges register fund increases, change orders, and assists with cashier questions to enable smooth flow of customers.
• Observes employee performance to ensure department procedures are followed.
• Provides training and feedback to cashiers.
• Performs cashiering, boxing and other front-end duties with safety in mind.
• Assists customers with questions about merchandise, payment or service.
• Makes supply orders and oversees the service desk.
• Ensures return and exchange procedures are followed.
• Assists in training of new cashiers.
• Operates pallet jack, carts, and other front-end equipment.
