Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with chemical operations preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate forklifts safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out basic English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Maneuver and connect/disconnect transfer hoses.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading operations.
• Verify product against receiving/shipping documents and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and record amounts in the computer system.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts (with certification) to transport product.
