Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Operator to receive/unload and load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers and railcars.

This role requires careful handling, attention to documentation, and adherence to safety protocols in a busy chemical distribution environment. You will operate powered forklifts (certified), inspect equipment, maintain inventory logs, and assist in packaging, labeling and staging for delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• 2+ years of experience in chemical operations preferred if education/service requirements are not met.
• Must be able to pass Forklift Operators certification exam and operate forklift safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions in English and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and learn technology-based devices used in operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts with certification; transport product in the warehouse.
• Repackage product into proper containers with correct labeling and storage.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory counts.
• Perform general maintenance and ensure safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Assist in mixing, blending, and other duties as assigned.
