Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Warehouse Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemical products, load/unload from trucks, tankers, and railcars, and maintain precise inventory records. You will inspect equipment, verify documents, and perform quality checks with lab personnel, while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

This role requires forklift certification, ability to read English instructions, and willingness to work varying shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Forklift Operators certification (must pass exam) and ability to operate forklift safely.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to lift and carry bags, cartons, and pallets.
• Comfort with technology-based devices and basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts and maintain daily forklift checklist.
• Record amounts of product received or distributed using company systems.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before/after loading/unloading.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and packaging according to regulations.
• Participate in safety program including meetings and trainings.
