Job summary

Brenntag seeks a Production Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemicals, mix and blend products, and load/unload from trucks, tankers, and railcars. The role requires careful attention to documentation, labeling, and quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, repackaging, and maintaining accurate inventory while complying with safety standards, with overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• 2+ years of experience in chemical operations preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out simple instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, blending, and manufacturing of products safely and efficiently.
• Receive/unload and load liquids and dry chemicals from trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate forklifts and move materials to production and warehouse areas.
• Repackage products into proper containers with correct labeling and storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and logs; perform sampling and quality checks.
• Follow safety procedures and wear provided PPE; participate in safety programs.
